Independent Age

George Stanbury manages the Campaigns team at Independent Age, working to make sure nobody has to face financial hardship in later life by influencing government policy. This includes campaigning to ensure older people have an adequate income, good quality and affordable housing, and an independent voice at the heart of government through the creation of a Commissioner for Older People and Ageing.

‘As we get older, we all want to remain independent and live life on our own terms. That’s why, as well as offering regular friendly contact and a strong campaigning voice, Independent Age can provide you and your family with clear, free and impartial advice on the issues that matter: income, costs, community, and housing.’
